inner of this amp: good or not?

have the same board as the newer ppi pcx's and the orions...
The cooling vents on the sides throwing me off. its probably a smaller brand named amp.
the amps pretty symmetrical, however its near identical to many of the offshore made amps.
The amp pictured above is the bigger brother to that amp most likely (board)

Ok now the answer:
It's a Soundstream Tarantula TR 500/4.

That's quite the nice looking amp. 4 power transformers and what looks to be bi-polar transistors. I'd hit it.
Battyrida's amp pictured looks similar except some stuff is placed differently.
At least Soundstream appears to still makes SOME good stuff. Hope the looks match the performance.

the amp i pictured is your standard run of the mill 2400 watt class d.. open up an orion 2400d or many other 2000+ watt amps, guaranteed you will find the board to be the exact thing.
The company who makes the amps (chunglams digital) just uses a dumby name (caliber) to badge the amps and sell direct to the public. They make amps for, autotek, memphis, some cadence, hifonics, orion, ppi, etc...
Pretty cool to buy a 2000+ watt amp for around 200 bucks US brand new.
