Hi,

I've recently had Alpine CDE-103BT installed with the KCE-433iV cable. Everything is perfect, except one thing: the artist/song title isn't automatically displayed. The only way I can see the info is by pressing on the 'Title' button three times to see the artist name or 4 times to see the artist name. I'm sure this is not the way it's meant to be. I've looked through the manual and can't figure out what is wrong. I've tried my ipod in my boyfriend's car (he's travelling otherwise I would ask him) who has an a 3 year old Alpine deck. It automatically displays artist and song name at the same time.

I've copied his settings and still it's not automatically displaying the text:
- Text Scroll = manual (I've tried automatic as well)
- Scroll type = 2
- Play mode = CDA
- Aux-setup = off
- Aux name = auxiliary
- Play mode =CDA
- Power IC = On
- BGV select = off

What setting needs to change? Btw, I do have the ID3 tags and don't think the issue is related to anything on the ipod given that it works on my boyfriend's Alpine. I'm going on a 9 hour road trip next week and would like to have it working by then. Help!
