im having a hard time deciding which amps I want to buy. Memphis or JL Audio Slash. Anybody use Memphis car amplifiers? I want sound quality

They are both fine amp lines.

 

Memphis is a very nice amp. Great sound and they are under-rated.

Try talking to Jim at WOW electronics. They sell Memphis and they are very knowledgeable.

And the satin black finish on the MC line is just plain sexy

 

i was using a memphis 16-MC1500D for a short while..it was awful. Cut out all the time, constantly over heated and clipped my subs. but it also might have been broken, so I don't know if this is a good reflection of their products. just my own experience. that being said, they are sexy amps lol

 

Currently using a Memphis 4K.

The new bass **** is great, if the amp goes into protect the light on the **** turns red, then just press the **** in, let go and it fires back up. I've run it as low as 10 volts and it still keeps running just fine.

all in all A+

 

Ive got 2 memphis 16-PRD1000.1 pushing 2 12inch type r's and couldnt be happier before those was running a rockford fosgate 1000-1bd and 2 memphis amps were way more efficient then 1 fosgate
