Dont take this wrong, but those subs are crap. Reading their performance stats (Theile & Smalls) Their FS is 38, that WAY to high. like 28 is the max, any higher and their low end Freq. response goes all to heck. Their effeciency isn't great either, in combination to their low xmax. makes for a pretty tame sub. Step response is rough too. I used to have one JUST like yours, it was fairly loud, but sounded terrible. I'd advise you start with a better sub if you going to invest all your time
