JL 300/4 or PG Ti500.4
Really? The best price I was quoted so far was 900. He said retail was 12something.
The other price I got was 1100, from Dashworks, but always charge an arm and a leg. They said retail was 1300 and some BS about the other place giving me a quote a refurbished product???

Sorry to spill someone's water concerning opinion, but I heard a JL 300/4 up against an Audison SRx4 model (lower end) 4 channel amp running the same equipment and there was no comparison. The Audison raped the JL....Raped. My jaw dropped. I wanted it so bad, but I had to restrain myself. Ooooh, I'll drive 100km back out there just to listen to it again. On another occasion someone who sold me a Sony ES 2100G and moved up to a 300/4 said that the treble in the JL was crisper and sharper, however lacking midbass characteristic. I know the Sony's back then had good midbass and smooth treble all the way up.
The PG I'd love to hear. I cannot comment on it other than acquaintances that rave about the Ti, and I must agree that PG in general rocks for beefy SQ amps. I have an M50, but that's old school.
FYI, the Audison SRx4 is 60x4 RMS at 4 ohm, and it near outdid the 300/4 for output. SQ was the biggest diff though.
