I run a 500/1 and a 300/2 off the stock electrical system in my Civic with zero issues.

That would be a perfect amp for the Elemental..

I tested one for a friend a little while back. It made all the power it claimed to, and definitely did NOT like running into 1-Ohm. But who in gods name would want to run a sound quality woofer at a low impedance? Dual three's in series on a nice big Audison A/B two-channel. Now THAT's control...
