about $650 for both of those, then shipping of course

then I could sell my MTX Thunder 4244 for $120 and I could use the thunder 895 to power the other speakers in the car nicely

sorry for creating a new topic but as I continue to narrow things down I think its necessary to get the best feedback

one big question I need answered is with one sub, can I get a 2ohm load?

yes, get a sub with two 4ohm coils and wire parallel(both + leads to the + speaker terminal of the amp, both - leads to the negative terminal) for a 2 ohm load.
