JL Cleansweep or AudioControl DQL-8

I just got my 2009 Mercedes C300 and obviously I need to put a system in it so I want to keep the stock HU so now my choices are the JL piece and the Audiocontrol Piece.

I would like to know which one is better and some detail would be nice, "beacuse" wont help me.

I will be putting in subs, and mids also. with 2 amps

thanks

I don't know if there is better, they are different.

Not to familiar with the clean sweep, but it seems like what it does over the AC product is it will compensate for the built in EQ'ing of the factory system (if there is some) that is usually there ot compensate for stock system shortcomings. But I don't think you can do much tuning with it youself.

On the other hand the DQL has a lot of EQ and xover power, but you might not get a linear response throughout the volume range like the JL product.

So it depends what you want, if all you need is a bridge from your stock radio to the amps, then JL might be the best easyest route. But if you like fediling then the DQL8 wins.

I ve installed a few clean sweeps and turned out very well but had install the summing module on two of them installs as well to get the full range out of it. have seen the differnce on the scope with and with out the clean sweep and huge differnce. haven't had anything to do with the audio control though..

Rockford Fosgate has the 3sixty.1 piece you might want to give that a look over!

It looks like a great piece and so straightforward to use! Mine is on order so I can't wait for it to arrive. The JL and AudioControl piece is all manuallly adjust to factory settings. The Auto factory setup looks cool - looks to me like a set it, eq it, forget it. Plus bass control and master volume control -
