I can't be sure but I have a hard time believing a Z1a is doing 9500wrms even at 17volts...could be wrong though I know they are nice amps I own one and I know that they are on par with the stetsom in street not sure about 17volts though

What impedance are you running that amp at? looks like 1.2 ohms after rise, must be starting about .125 or .25 ohms

Nice power

^ keep in mind the measured current output into a reactive load is going to be significantly higher then it 'really is'....

you guys should try using a dummy load...

Too bad that you dont actually use DUMMY loads in competition, so whats the point? IN CAR measurments between amps when comparing are what counts, here.

James you arnt getting anywhere near 9600 watts in street. lol What are you thinking???
Riprock only got 6500 from the Z2s in the trooper on 17 volts, and now they are doing 9800 with the Stetsoms.

I agree totally with johnw there, in car testing is what is important. You cant make to same power in a real car audio application as you can on the bench into resistors.

As for the impedance i am running this amp at it is 0.8 ohm and is ran daily / Bass Race / Demo'd hard!!! Rise up to 1.2 ohm very stable right now. My build is blessed with very little imp rise. =)
