Just Wondering ...

Ok I bought a Lanzar Pro Subwoofer which is 1600 Watts and I got a sony 1200 Watt amp and its all good and everything but im just wondering what kind of like wires i should buy to hook it up.?

I would recommend minmum 4gauge as the Sony amps no likey 8gauge

but like how do i no what kind of wiring like when i went and looked at wal marts wiring stuff for my amp it only said like 225 watts. like how do i nno what tto buy?

What is the actual model number of the amp? In another thread you stated it was 300 watts rms... that's far from 1200. If that's the case, 8 gauge wiring should be perfectly fine.

At least stop asking question while the damn hockey game is on, sheesh. Post the model # of the amp dude. Simple as that, even better, post a link to it to simplify the work that you want others to do.

That would be 300 sony watts rms, so an 8ga. kit from walmart would be good enough.

What yer gonna wunna du is grab some 0 gauge, at least 3 runs for + and - each, then get some brass, drill and tap for blocks, then get some waffer fuses, and some holders,, then yous, , ,,,,,,,,....

oh, a sony amp? ya, 4 gauge would be a good idea, in case you want to

add another!
