It will work fine. There wont be as much power put out at a lower voltage and naturally it will drain the batteries over time..

I am pretty sure I saw this same amp, also listed as a refurb which I thought was odd for the store at RadioActive in Burlington, If you give Lee the owner a call Im sure he can help you out. You would then have a warranty with a established store.

That's awesome... only thing is price, I'd have to find out how much and how much for shipping or depending on if i could pick it up myself depending on how much shipping is to driving there and back to git it. (probably not worth it with todays gas prices)
Thank you for mentioning them.

Lightbulb

All of the original run of these amps from the factory had a serious problem with some of the power supply components.

Once the problem was discovered production was halted until the correct replacement parts could be ordered and installed on the production run. All the amps with the defective parts were recalled from the dealers and had the correct parts installed....if you happened to own one, when yours blew up the parts were replaced at the warranty depot and the amp returned.

The ones that were already at the dealers when this happened are now being sold as refurbs because they have been modified since they left the factory. They come with the full Kenwood warranty and do their rated power np.

This comes straight from the guy who runs the Kenwood warranty depot for Eastern Canada....nuff said....

They are a very nice component set.....well worth the heavily discounted price we got them for....

Glad you're enjoying them...
