Kenwood kdc-mp922 security code reset?
i got a kenwood mp922 head unit with my truck when i bought it. Owner said it didnt work so i ripped it out and put in my dvd deck.
Got bored tonight cracked it open...fixed a broken solder and voila it turns back on.
But theres a 4 digit security code that i need (im guessin in the original receipt or manual) that i dont have.
Ive read theres a way to bypass this using the KCAR code (5227) but putting in this code alone with my remote doesnt seem to be working.
Anyone have experience with this?? A pic is below
