Last year I bought a kenwood deck, I still have the remote for it, this year I upgraded to a kvt - 512 I was wondering if that remote is compatable with my kvt 512 and if it will work properly (play pause dvd aswell as cd) if not anyone know what remote would be compatable?

 

Remote modle number is rc-547

Any KW remote I've had over the years has run any KW deck I've seen....it may not work on the DVD specific functions but the volume, track and folder select functions should be OK......

Give it a try, what's the worst that can happen?

Yeah I tried it it does work. Now I just have to try it with a dvd
