Kicker Amps

Kicker Amps states there RMS rating but don't state a peak. I'm planning to buy a Kicker ZX750.1 .They are rated @ 750w@ 2ohm. I've read some reviews and they states that they are underrated and put out about 930+ rms @2ohm. I am requesting for the peak if anyone knows could they let me know. One site that was selling them online said 2250, but idk.

Not sure the exact peak, but have to ask, why does the peak matter?

Kickers are nice and underrated in everyway, the only problem with them is they have a 50% fail record in my experience, and why do you think there are so many refurbs for sale, more than any other brand I can think of. It is usually a cheap fix, but who needs the inconvenience. If you get one which will work, you will be pleased with the performance, but they are also hoggers like the v1 JL Slash amps, so if efficiency is important to you, cause you may have a tiny alt and a big system, Kicker may not be your best option. Food for thought.

woah, 50% failuer rate, i would like to see proof of that. I've been running kicker for years and haven't had any problems. My friend is a kicker rep and he has not had no where near 50% of the amps he sold brought back. Wow, i never heard anyone throw number out there like that before 50% failure rate i highly doubt it.

second that! I've run kicker amps, and installed a boat load of them since the 80's and i've never had one fail on me. With a 50% fail rate, i should have come across at least one! Perhaps this is a batch problem with a specific line or production run??

Everyone's experiences can be different. I have 3x Kicker amps and I've repaired one, another I dropped off at the shop today, and the third amp has been solid since the day I got it. Sometimes it's just bad luck!

Mostly it's just low quality soldering practices. Most of the kicker amps I've fixed just had cold solder issues,
