Come on, guys! You want to see proof? I AM the living proof. I have not pulled that number from thin air, like I said this is MY experience, and I did say that the fix is cheap like Sikk NAtion confirmed. And Slaughter also had some problems. If you had good luck with Kicker, that is excellent. One of my friend's is still hung up on Kicker. To me, Kicker is one of those companies that REALLY went downhill, more so than any other company that used to be solid. I'd rather have the equivalent Fosgate, as in my experience I never has a single problem. And Kicker is one of the most inefficient amps I have owned, at least JL Slash v1 is regulated, what is Kicker's excuse? I am not here to offend Kicker lovers, it's just I've used way better equipment, but at the price you can get Kicker online...

Batch - perhaps. I have used Kicker KX and SX lines. And SX with remotes. I've tried running active with SX remotes as well. So I can honestly say I gave Kicker a good run and they failed to impress me. Some knowledgable people have said that SX crossovers are dead-on, but I found otherwise with my gear, as I had horrid results running SX active using their onboard processing. It just looked cool for a little while, and once that wore off I was left with bad taste in my mouth about Kicker. My other friend also ran numerous Kicker amps and subs, and now we both dont run Kicker at all based on joint experiences, even though he didnt have it as bad. Alpine 701 processor blows Kicker processing out of the water in everyway if you want good processing.

We all have diff experiences and like diff products for our reasons. There is a huge Audison Lrx following in SQ arena, but to me they have very little *****, and I need something stronger. The new Lrx line looks better on paper, but I do not know how they hold up powerwise. Vrx are amazing though, but not many people can afford. My fave amps for many many reasons are Arc Audio SE, and I would not hesitate running several of them in my ride, but they too have one shortcoming that I do not like, but SE are the closest thing to audio amp perfection that I have come across, which can be had for a reasonable price.

don't change your mind kicker makes very solind amps, and to say that 50% failure rate is a joke. unless you work for kicker how can you pull numbers out of the air like that. Anyways if you a kicker amp you won't be disappointed

LoL. As Sasha mentioned, that 50% failure rate is based on his own personal experience. He is not claiming that as a factual number from Kicker. I'm at a 66.6% failure rate with Kicker, however, I continue to use them as I like their product and find them to be pretty solid amps.
