Just got the sub for a killer price and just wanna get a cheap amp to power it for now until I get more money to do everything I want.. My options it seems would be

Sony/Kenwood/JBL/Rockford Fosgate... If you had to choose between one of their amps that are suppose to be rated at 400rms @ 4ohm or 400rms @ 1ohm which one would you go with?

Work at a retailer so I get any of them at cost so price is an issue but I get a pretty good deal on any of em... Thanks

Luke

why not wire the sub to 4 ohms and find a nice mono block that does aprox 300 rms at 4 ohms. that way if you ever want more bumb you dont need to buy a new amp?

just a thought , always plan ahead!

I ended up purchasing an Audiobahn that does 400wrms @ 4ohm.... Hopefully it was the smart choice
