Kicker KX1200.1

Just a quick question:
I have a pair of KX1200.1's that are going to be strapped Kicker says 2ohm minimum load.
How bad would running them at 1ohm be? (daily for music)

The amps are 1 ohm stable, so I would say they would be alrighty.

That's where they get the rated 1200 watts at.

ya 1200Watts @1ohm each
when you strap them they make 2400Watts @ 2ohm

I'm wondering if i can run them at 1ohm when strapped.

try it.
But I think it would work for awhile then over heat and go into protection.

I have heard both sides
Yes it will run at 1ohms strapped then also heard no it wont atleast for any length of time.
