I think if you want more bass you should look at a stronger amplifier or a different box for your current sub(s).

Changing subs wont do anything.

I've always thought of Kicker gear as some of the better equipment out there. I haven’t heard or used any of their newer stuff, so I can't really comment on any of their current lines. That’s just my opinion. As mentioned above, it all boils down to what you like best. Most sales people will be biased towards products they carry. Always take their brand opinions with a grain of salt. If you like the way the Rockford stuff sounds, and its within your budget, then go for it!

I see know problem with Commission. I was on commision for years. The way I look at it why should I get paid to stand around. Pay me for what I sell.

Commission is a differant way to pay. You get paid on performance.

Customers have minds of there own, and can do research. Salesmen cant force them to say YES!!

Yeah i wasn't sure about best buy and commission but i know at F/S here they do. I was just stating that they might try to sell something worth more than what you need. .
Like i said before it all depends on the people that work there and who you deal with. There are some real good people to deal with there. It doesnt really sursprise me about that people at specialty shops make commission.
I guess it's the fact that the futureshop here sucks and that has soured me towards them.
The best thing i can say is do some research before it's time to buy compare prices and products so you don't get taken.
Agreed the install need to be looked after too i've heard **** gear sound amazing due to install, and vice versa.
