Two completely different amps. Now if it were ZR1000 vs. MS2250 I would always go with the PG product.
Don't forget, this is a NIB product also.
I use 2 ZR1000's for daily driving, but i also have a PC1700 battery and a 200amp alternator.

i can't imagine the zr being superior to the ZP in any aspect, but wouldn't be surprised if it ranked up there. however, you are right, they are completely different amps, the ZP is even superior to the MS2250, although not as powerfull.
btw, there;s a place online selling the ms2250 brand new for $395.00
check if they have more stock...
