I have been doing a install in my truck for demonstration purposes, however its not to that level yet, I'm torn you see between kicks or doors and 5.1 or straight SQ.

as for 5.1 which unit looks to be better alpine's 700 or clarions 920 unit< it has to be compatible with any head unit as I am using my Macrom DVD head unit.

I do not want to compete with this just show what the speakers sound like and let people judge for them selves if it is right for them.

Any suggestions on compatible 5.1 units or EQs for tuning would be appriciated.

 

Dude, you just missed out the 5.1 AVM-P9000R that Future Shop had on sale.. you might be able to find some old stock, so look around.. they were going for $400 plus tax.. 5.1, DTS, etc.. s speaker out. Nice rig, I picked one up and am waiting to install it.
