2 hours between coats is good enough at room temperature. maybe a bit more depending on thickness
you dont need to just glop it on there, i made that mistake the first time i used it. very thin multiple coats is the best way to do it.
here is some more information if yall would like a brief read. EdeadV3
Are all sprays equal? Cascade Audio Engeneering have a product called VB1X that is a sprayable, air curing damping compound specifically designed for use on the interior side of external body panals. This product utilizes a unique combination of silica-mica, ceramics and an advanced chemical binder. Application is quick and easy leaving an attractive matt black finish that can be painted if desired. Vb1X is nontoxic, water based, enviromentally friendly and cleans up with soap and water. Effectiveness is 4 times that of conventional asphalt based sheets.
20 oz spray can - 4 sq. feet
1 US Quart - 7.5 sq. feet
1 US Gallon - 30 sq. feet
5 US Gallon - 150 sq. feet.
weight - 12.9 lbs/gallon
doesn't sound like undercoating to me. Don't try to use a tennis racket to play hockey.

Cascade is liekly the best out there.
The Lightning Audio spray is junk though....or it was. The can doesn't even come with 2 nozels and the one that does come with it clogs seconds after you stop spraying.
That and a can MIGHT do a door if you're lucky.

The Cascade stuff is very good.
I am using half Cascade in my car, but am using X-terminator from GCA on the outside panels. I like it because it is fire resistant and doesn't soften again when it gets wet and doesn't smell like those asphalt-based materials.
