I'm venturing into building my own budget SQ home speaker system. i've got my vifa tweets, some special mid-range and now i need a single 10". What do you guys suggest out there? i need it solely for sub-bass. i'm looking for those little unkown subs that kick major commercial product asz for a margin of the price. i've thought of Creative Sound Solutions (adire) 10" with XBL^2... any other recommendations?
my budget is $200

thanks,
Marco

A Friend a Paradigm PS-1000 forsale for 3 bills.

It has a built in 200w (750 Peak) Amplifier and its a fair size.

He is selling because his 9yr old daughter is scared of it because its so loud.

How bout a Lambda, Marco? You see them on Carsound and Elite all the time for real cheap and there supposed to be a real nice sub. Another one to consider would be Velodyn.

Velodyne would surely be wicked but a tad on the expensive side. i noticed someone selling a 15" tempest but its a bit too big for the space i have. Slingsot2, you just might be onto something with the lambda... i'll check it out, thanks.

any links to the IDQ ome applications?
