I just got a 2003 VW Golf, and it has stock sound system. It does have the Monsoon Factory Upgrade, so it has an amp in the back, and gets plenty loud. (I'll most likely change speakers later on once my cash has recovered from that down payment)

Only problem, is that the 3 band EQ isn't cutting it (from CD tests), and there's no AUX/USB audio input for my iPhone

Now, I really want to keep the stock head unit, I really despise the look of an aftermarket one, so that's not an option for me. (unless there are clones of the same factory head with better internals) Anyways, I want to find some sort of EQ box with USB audio input, that can also charge my phone. I'll route wires through to the glove box and keep it there.

Lastly, I'm a college student, so $100 is best I can do, if not pushing it.
