Hey im in the market finally to build a nice SQL system, its going inside a genesis coupe.

i was thinking about doing 2 JL 12 inch W3v3s in a sealed box with a JL JX1000.1d amp

would that be good? or can you guys recommend something that would sound better, and hit harder and lower and get LOUDER but still stay clean..

also, looking for a good double din non nav 7 inch head unit, i was a little surprised to learn none of them have HD screen resolution and none display graphic visualization when listening to music.. at least none that i saw which are the pioneer and kenwood and a few alpines..

my budget for subs, amp, box, wiring, install and headunit and metra mounting kit and steering wheel control module , etc total is: 1800-2000

How is this SQL when there is no mention of front speakers or amplification for same?

You want to add a sub to a factory system. For what it will be, the gear you are asking about will do a good job.

 

budget? the things you have selected are decent upgrades from factory
