From their specs they can get louder(assuming you give them max power). Whether they'll sound better to you is another question. I've used the vegas, and they sound great...i have not used the fi, but they have received really good reviews...so if you want to try something different and a little more exotic...it might be a good way to go.

Hmm. That is true. Are these subs rare? Where do they carry them?
Ok I have thought about it and I think I want to go with a single sub that will match up with my kx1200.1 at 1ohm. I think ill start another thread.

Rare compared to popular brands but getting popular with enthusiasts. I was going to get a pair of 12's myself, but they were back ordered for quite a while and i couldn't wait. I got a pair of alpine type r and they're excellent (i had the previous model and knew they were good performers...so with the excellent ebay prices on them it was a no brainer for me). As far as availability of the fi subs, most people order them online directly from ficaraudio off their website... Just google it'll pop up.
