I am finally getting a new car and able to put a proper radio in my car (dont ask) and the one that I think I have decided on is the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X693 or depending on pricing the KDC-X993 I was originally looking at getting and alpine 9886 and adding the H700 but was told the kenwood would be better. What are your opinions on this, it will be running Clarion SS601 speakers (amp'ed separate) and a sub, I have an iPod and iPhone that I would use as sources most of the time and liked the 24bit DAC. Also could the vendors on here give me prices for one shipped to Burlington Ontario unless they are local (gta).

nice, thats on par with what my local shop told me as well (although he is not an alpine dealer so I wasnt sure)

 

Kenwood all the way, I love them, I've had 3 in the last 11 years, loved everyone of them, I'm still using 2 of them(one on the car, one in the truck)

 

I swear by excelon hu's. Lovem and ill probably buy another when its time.

 

Bro you've heard mine with the Clarions, why even ask? LOL I have Saturdays off starting next week so I should be ready when the new car comes.

Anyone know pricing on the two models? I have been quoted 230 for the 693, is that any good?
