Actually no I have not, I have heard the deck with the JL's with the replacement after you blew the JL's (rockford?) but the only time I have heard the Clarions is as midbass in the work truck.
Tomorrow afternoon is going to be a 3rd full day of testdrives so we will see....

 

I just bought a new 993, mostly for the BlueTooth....new law starts up shortly and for me it's essential. So far it's been great, I am still going through the setup process. The SQ was great right out of the box, the display is a hoot (all those colours and variations.... ), and the menu driven setup is very detailed.

If you got that quote from Steven at the shop that's probably as good as it will get, I can ask about the 993 if you want......Lee is away until next Tuesday, if you can wait you might be able to do a bit better......

Don't forget they double the warranty to 2 years if they put it in the new wheels.....

Once I have gone through the whole thing I will be posting a Product Review for the 993 on the board, I will put a link to it in this thread for anyone else who wants more info on the KW flagship unit......

I am thinking of just going for the 993 for the same reason, I dont often use my phone while driving but its becoming more common, I thought the law already passed (guess I havent been breaking the law then, well that one anyways )
The 230 price was actually from a vendor on here, I have been to busy to make it into radioactive, let me know when you do hear from Lee I wont be buying it until I have the car and settled.
