That would be fine.

IIRC the 1014D is 4 ohm DVC so the way to go is to give each sub 500w @ 2 ohm.

Play with the gain as the 1014d takes 250w RMS

Should sound nice. Are you going sealed or ported?

actually I think those subs are rated for 350 watts rms each, so If it were me, I would wire them parallel to 1 ohm...your 1kw watt amp at 1ohm will work well with the subs, just go easy on the gain control and the volume ****. It'll sound great, JBL subs have a nice fat, round bass sound that blends well with mids and highs.

^^^^^ he said his amp is stable to 4 ohm mono, why would he run it at 1 ohm? its a stereo amp not mono. And my bad, i looked up the subs and read they were single 4 ohm voice coils, guess i was wrong. So if they are dual 4 ohm voice coils than wire then in series, than wire them parrallel to the amp to get 1000 watts at 4 ohms. No need to run them in stereo at 500x2.

my bad...sorry I meant wire them for 4ohm mono since your amp is stereo. Must have been thinking about a similar set up but with a 1 ohm stable amp. Do what T-money said, it'll sound great.
