Lightning Audio Names Mark Bruno Brand Manager
Wednesday, February 11, 2004 by Rob Granger
Lightning Audio has announced that Mark Bruno has been named the company’s brand manager. As brand manager, Bruno will be working with Lightning’s marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure that Lightning Audio remains an industry leader well into the future.
"I’ve been with Lightning Audio since it was first acquired by Rockford in 1999 and have been a part of this brand’s intense growth ever since," states Bruno. "What started out as a small niche capacitor brand has grown into a full line accessory, amplifier and speaker company. It has been amazing to be a part of such a rapidly growing company and I am excited to be back and focused solely on Lightning Audio’s future."
Prior to this appointment, Bruno has been part of Lightning’s sales team as well as a major contributor to the brand’s product development. Bruno is a 17-year industry veteran. His past industry experience includes sales, installation and store management on the retail side as well as sales training, product development, marketing and regional and national sales management on the manufacturer’s side. He has worked for such companies as Rockford Fosgate, MB Quart, Q-Logic, Precision Power, and Eclipse.
Bill Jackson, vice president of mobile electronics, did not have to look far when looking to fill the new vacancy.
"Mark bleeds Lightning Audio. He is the only man for this job since he knows the brand top to bottom and was, and still is, a major influence on the brand’s success over the past five years. Having Mark at the helm will keep Lightning Audio ahead of the curve."

We have a Mark Bruno on the board, he is co owner of KanKar along with Tom (Dawgsbreakfast). I thought he would get a kick out of it and so would a few other memebers.
