I have an Alpine UTE 42BT installed in an 2003 4Runner (previously stock non-JBL audio system) that does pretty much what I want it to i.e. Bluetooth handsfree and (limited) compatibility with my Galaxy 5, but I can't dim the thing down enough for night driving. The source button is blinding at night and the dimmer maybe dims it down 10% at best. Its hooked up correctly.

I'd like to find a BT/USB/Aux deck that a) can dim down, ideally to null, and b) interfaces better with my Galaxy 5. Bonus points if it looks subdued, I don't want graphics of flamboyant multicoloured dolphins jumping in the display or anything, I'm not very cool.

My budget is around $200. Suggestions?
