Mint Orion Concept 97.3...How much would you pay?

I have the opportunity to purchase a 97.3 in mint condition and am wondering what a reasonable price would be for it. Or at least what you would be willing to pay for it. Not that I would have any interest in turning it over. Just want to get an idea of it's value. This thing is gonna run the subs in the hearse that bounces me away

Well, let's see.....the amp does around 700w per side @ 2ohms, it is one of the cleanest A/Bs ever made, and it has the 'legend' to go along with it......

Personally, I wouldn't sell mine for less than $500 and it's got a couple of war wounds......

Thanks. I'm paying a bit more than that but it i really is beautiful. Barely a fingerprint on it. It's gonna look nice next to my 7005. What's the lowest impedance you have taken it to. I'm sure it's not stable down to 1/32 ohms.

In spite of the theatrics around the amp back in the day, you definitely do not want to load it down below 2 ohms stereo. It is not an HCCA in a silver case, it's actually roughly equivalent to an SX2350....

Enjoy the amp, it will do amazing things to a 3way front stage or 1 or 2 sturdy subs.....either way very clean power.....

shoot man... I heard one guy ran it at a dead short and it still ran... how are you planning on getting the impedance down?
