MP3 Question
#1
If you buy a Mp3 capable deck you should be able to play all mp3s unless the file is corrupt because its one file format right? or is there more than one Mp3 type?

Yea anything with the extension file name *.MP3 will work on it.
Some new decks work with the new Microsoft format .. WMA or something like that ... I haven't used it personally...

There is also an mp3 Pro format, which still uses the extension .mp3. This creates a problem, as you need an mp3 pro capable deck to play them at the proper setting, otherwise, they default to 22khz instead of the 44khz. I don't know of any decks that can read mp3 pro as mp3 pro.

I don't think they play Viriable bitrate files or anything that would skip. But I have never really played with one. Don't expect too much for sound quality either. But it's cool to have hundreds of songs on a single disc.
