Question, why would it be tested in a street application?
It is oveously over the window line, so a SS setup. Doesn't dB Drag rules state that a sub can not be over 18" in diameter, so what good is it, to a competitor?
It looks inpesive though.

DB Drag or any Competition is an extremely small segment of the market. DB drag or SPL had nothing to do with why this was made. This is a statement piece for those who want something others cant have.
But Derek one thing you were wrong on. "They will sell more than a few, the back order list is quite large!"

They now have the sledgehammer enclosure for that woofer in the pic! "yes boys, a prefab box!"

Anyways, that's obviously not the point of this woofer. What I'd love to hear is that beast ported to about 20 hz in 8 cubes or so [img]graemlins/jawdrop.gif[/img]
