As I once was an MTX dealer at my other store I heard all the hype about this sub before it was even public knowledge. It is a beast I will give it that. But for the size of it you would think it would handle way more than 6000 rms. Yes guys that is alot I agree. Now everyone turn there pasmags to page 130. It states that 6000 rms peak. With a 900 oz magnet. And mica filler for stiffnes. Basically I wanna know why this thing weighs 320 LBS with only a 900 oz magnet . I wiould imagine it is the frame and the mica filler. It may be big but it defeinately is not the loudest. Congratulations MTX.

Mr. Audiovault when you see the woofer you will understand why it is 320lbs. The frame is massive. Its hard to say what the actual Power handling of that woofer is, since they are not even available to the public yet. Heck I have seen 3000RMS on a single 9500, and what is the 9500 rated at?

This woofer is a statement piece that WILL sell, since it already has a massive back order list.

Its great some of you have a good attitude toward MTX pushing the boundries.

Killowatt has the right idea!
"Kudos to MTX for pushing the limits of car audio."

The Jackhammer is yet to have finalized pricing and each TA92001 is $1999.99 those are MSRP

TOO BAD it will tip your VW bug over with the weight! LOL
