i connected my mtx tc6001 amp to my rockford p3 sub turned the car on with the music completely off and the amp started making weird noises and the power and ground wires starting getting hot turned the car off whent to go check the sub it was seized woudnt move anyone know why this happend

 

just a long shot.but have you used the amp before this.?
sounds like a fried amp.

 

no never used it before can a fried amp frie your voice coils
