amp: JL 500/1
sub: 12inch RE SX

i'm not well versed on the RE, but its a dual 0.7ohm right? so i'm assuming i should be wiring it for a 1.4ohm load right? JL only gives specs for 1.5-4ohms...

i know i wont coming even near to the full potential of the sub

yes the sub is dual .7 and i'd recommend running it at 1.4ohm for that amp.

 

they normally come in dual 2's... but re will make dual 1's special order.....

.7 ohm DCR is the same as 1ohm as far as amp ratings are concearned......

 

And the SX will excel with 1000-1500rms depending on enclosure. Sell that 500/1 and get some more power for it if you really want that sub to shine.
