I had an alarm installed there back in december, What a hack job!,I was testing it out the other day(shock sensor) banging on the car and what not.
I almost had to full out boot the car to even get the warning chirps?
So i went to turn up the sensitivity on the unit,i took off the lower dash to do so and the unit just fell out? WTF!
So i got it strapped in now and ajusted to were i want it,life goes on right.
Found today:the nose panel they removed to find a home for the siren was barely attatched 2 outta 4 screws......
I'll never go back!

What a bunch of hack jobs!
Removing a panel to put the siren behind it?
I just tie strap it to a wire harness!!
Ha ha ha.
Just kidding.
But seriously, I do.

It all depends where you go.

At one F.S. you might get the best install available and at the other some n00b who doesn't know what he's doing.

No i resorted to kicking the fender after banging on the hood, roof, door, etc with the palm of my hand.

I could actually get in the trunk and bang arount and there was not even a chip

Keep in mind this kind of install could happen at ANY shop. There are hacks everywhere.

Instead of coming on here and bashing the entire FS chain of installers why don't you go back to where it was installed and complain?

There are good and bad at F.S. And Best Buy. Despite the good guys, the bad guys far outweigh em... Yes they are pretty good at simple things like deck installs (for the most part) but after seeing how a few of them work, Id look for a reputable independant.
