Nakamichi MB-7 Question.

Hello All

Just wondering if anyone is familar with the Nak MB-7 changer. mainly if it'll work with the current CD-700II player directly. as the MB-7 doesn't have RCA out. (Its all in the 13 pin din plug). and the CD-700 have input rca jacks for the changer.

I will put in a call tomorrow for you but if you have the CD-700II the add on changer that does work for sure is the MF-51. But I will do some digging for you if no one knows here for sure.

Update: Just emailed in and should have an anwser tomorrow hopefully.

O.k. I got everything hook up on the test bench, and the controller portion seems to work fine.. just no audio.

Does Nak have this (rca out) adapter? Its like the old 10 disc Sony changer, to use without their controller/preamp. (interfacing with Soundstream or Nak etc)

I just purchased a MB-7 changer and it does not have the RCA or digital output. How were you able to solve this issue?

Thanks,

Jeff

Six year old thread.. You would be better off trying to send him a PM.. I suspect he tracked down the pinout and tapped the audio outs in the cable from the changer.
