nakamichi cd500 question
I had an older cd400 that broke. I replaced it with a brand new cd500 (ordered on ebay from Hong Kong).
One thing I really liked about the cd400 was where my car's OEM head unit shot the antenna up whether I was listening to the radio or the cd, the Nak only put the antenna up when the tuner was in use.
With this brand new cd500 it powers up the antenna no matter what source is selected.
So i thought maybe i mis-connected things, but I am guessing that the antenna lead from the cd500 must be connected properly if it is powering up at all.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

maybe not. Some head units have seperate antenna AND remote turn ons, where the antenna turn on will only work with the tuner, where as the amp remote comes on with any function. check to see if your unit has both. chances are if your old nakamichi had a seperate turn on, this one will too.
