Need filler that sticks to ABS

I need a filler to improve the look of my tweeter install in my A-pillars. The A-pillar housing is ABS and I need a small amount of some kind of filler that will stick to it. I understand that "Milliput' (two part putty) is an excellent solution, but I am having trouble finding a retailer in Waterloo, Ontario. Does anyone know of other substances that stick well to ABS, does not shrink, dries to a hard consistency, and is possible to sand? and where I can buy? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your response. I am dealing with a small area so I want to avoid the extended efforts involved with fibreglass/resin, which is harder to sand and also requires at least one layer of finishing and possibly high-build primer etc. I am looking for some putty I can build up on a small area/joint, and sand smooth after drying. Basically Milliput is what I'm after, but wondering if there are substitutes as I am having trouble finding it locally.

You can use regular light weight body filler if the area you need to build up isn't too high. The amount of prep you do to the abs is key, hit the A-pillar and the tweeter housing with at least 200 grit and use a proper panel prep cleaner before applying the filler. If you're still concerned, drill some small holes at the base of the A-pillar/tweeter section where you want to fill, and push some filler into the holes to act as anchors/rivets. I've had great success with this method personally. Never pulled or cracked, even in direct sunlight.

Hope this helps!

Evercoat Fiber Tech is what you want. Find it at any industrial body supply shop.

tubeamp and Dukk are right, a good prep and body filler (either a fiber reinforced if its thick or regular if its under say 0.25 inch) will work fine, the jb weld stuff if it is the same as what I think it is dry's very hard and will be a bitch to sand for finishing work. There is something similar I saw at walmart called magic putty that may be a softer compound.

Got it - fibre tech it is. I'll find out which body shop supply store has it in the Guelph / Cambridge / KW area. Unless someone already knows the answer?

I'm doing what the OP is doing (building tweeter mounts) and I picked up what you recommended DuKK. Mine looks different from what your picture is and it feels quite liquidy (but not completely). Is this it? I was thinking it was more malleable and I could mold it around the tweeter mount. Like the J-B stick.
product number 100633 $35
