its a two part system, works just like fiberglass resin or two part epoxy.
If you need it thicker wait a little while for it to start to gum up.
The other stuff I used was thicker it had long fiberglass strands in it and it was like playing with wood filler or thicker.

there is short and long hair reinforced filler, the short hair will be easier to smooth closer to a finishing putty, the long is harder and would be used to build up only, I would then go over it with something to smooth it out. I would say try what you have, I have used the brand before they make good stuff (better then bondo brand)

That looks to be the same stuff, they just changed the packaging. The number on the tube I posted the pic of is 100633. Evercoat

Brochure

If you check their site, they list 100634 as a pouch and 100635 as a can Evercoat

I suspect you got a changeover with the old part number but the new packaging.

Fibertech is like a thin medium strand kitty hair but formulated to stick to plastics better as well as metals. Definitely not a putty.

So using it to build up an area (large globs) might not work very well as its runny. That JB weld stick looks like what I want unless this stuff (after I let it sit for a bit) thickens up and is more malleable.

not runny, but not plasticene either. You could always add fumed silica to it to thicken it up but if you are wanting to sculpt, you should consider a putty.

Yeah I actually returned it and ordered some JB weld stik from lordco (which is where I got the other stuff) 1/3 the price ($9 a tube) and should do what I want.

Thanks.
