Can you? And thats whos important.
I think they look great, I am currently trying to design a full SQ system for my cavi and one of those 12"s would look awsome in there. Ill definatly be interested when you get everything going.

Have you worked through the issues of initial dissappointment - the sub not being what you expected it to be?

I still vote strongly for RA: Potential names

Refined Acoustic
Revelation Audio
Revolution Audio (Although Revolution may carry baggage with it)
Rudimentary Acoustics

Well yes I did the first batch due to the stiffness of them yes turned out to be a disappointment. But the second batch work amazing. However I didn't think anyone was interested in them as no one said anything about the pics. I guess I assumed no one liked the cork gasket deal. And they are not offshore, they are made in the US will all US parts so they are not cheap but definately worth the price. I have been trying to decide what to do and if there is a market for them. The 12" would be around $245msrp and 500Wrms and the 15" would be around $299msrp and 600Wrms. But not sure again if you guys want more power handling or lower price. This second batch will handle a ton of power I believe someone put close to 2000Wrms to the 15" and it handled it. For how long I dont know. Intro price would be around $171 for the 12" and $213 for the 15" shipped but again not sure if thats what you guys want....... or if its cheapy subs you want.

Thanks

Sorry this took me so long.
I picked up a 15" version of this sub and let me be the first to say they are absolutely AMAZING! We have been testing this thing in multiple boxes and different power levels. It was tested on amps ranging from a BOSS AVA-500 @ approx 100W rms to a Visonik V4000XD @ approx 2000W rms, and it sounded amazing on every test so far. I have yet to test it in a perfect box (but one is on it's way soon), but it even sounded amazing in a 1.7 cu ft sealed box (with an air leak)!! It loves those lows, but still manages to keep up more than i would have ever imagined for a 15" in the higher bass tones. The Visonik V4000XD was ran with gain at around 75% for about 30 seconds, but i didnt want to take any chances since i havent gotten used to this sub yet, so i want to save any more high power testing for later when i have it in a PROPER box for it.
The appearance of the sub is extremely impressive with it's clean stitched heavy rubber surround and surprisingly solid cone, and with the RA logo on the dust cap. The basket is extremely well designed, the magnet i believe is 104oz double stacked strontium ferrite, but dont quote me on that since i am not 100% sure. I think i will let Smartass fill in that detail because i cant remember. Oh yeah, Smartass, i wouldnt change a thing about that logo, personally i love it.
I was using a Soundstream SPL15 (not the one 1LoudScort00 is selling, which i believe is still for sale if anyone wants it, message him for details) which is actually a pretty decent SQ sub, in my opinion. I was perfectly happy with the SPL15...until i got this RA 15 from Smartass! The SQ is exceptional, the SPL is astonishing (especially since i am currently only running 400W rms into it in my car and it still flexes the car like no other PAIR of subs did).
I personally think the price tag on these subs is MORE than worth it! I will gladly buy another 15 as soon as i have the chance. In fact it is my goal at the moment with my system. I hope others enjoy this line of subs even half as much as i already am.
Also, one last thing, Smartass's service is unbeatable! I would email him and before i even had a chance to leave my computer i was already receiving a response from him with all the info i was looking for. He was extremely helpful and gave great advice when i met with him to pick up the sub. He even demo'd his own system for me for a bit. Gotta say that sounded pretty nice too.
Thanks Smartass! Mark me down as one more happy customer.
