Need the general pop's help :O)
DAX Audio
DAX (dee a ex) Audio
no particular reason why. Can't go with *** Audio, or SASS Audio, that just sounds kinda gay. Smart *** won't fit. MTX, JBL, etc all pulled it off. Why can't DAX work? or some other jumble of letters that mean nothing?

1: Roarr Audio, it was made up of my name and a partner thats not really involved right now. Using the big cat names for different models.
2: Fluke Audio, because I thought a cool slogan could have been: "If it sounds good must be a Fluke!"
3: WTF Car Audio, Which we all know what it means but can also be "Want True Fidelity Car Audio?"
and
4: NBS Audio standing for "No Bull Audio" just because the marketing plan would be this picture on the dust caps. Very basic and simple but cool.
I want a name and image that is fresh and cool.

As much as I appreciate the humour in the WTF option, I think it may cause credibility issues down the road with the consumer who doesn't go on car audio boards. If your products take off the way you're hoping, that group will be the ones who pay for it, and they may not get the joke.....
Big Unit's idea might be the way to go.....the initials of the founders worked well for JL Audio, and something 3 letters long that relates to the product's goals and audio in general works for me.
Say, maybe SQL Audio......

Best of luck with the new venture, no matter what you call it.....
My $0.02 worth
Thanks I appriciate the input always. I may keep the RA thing. Or Roarr. Like i said I was trying to ditch the ROarr because it was made up of my name and a partner thats not even in the mix anymore. So toying with maybe changing the Roarr to something else like Resolution. This way I can keep the RA as I have a logo already.

What are your feelings on that.

Thanks guys, I have to admit though I can't not take full credit for the design. Zinger and I have been tweeking it for about 3 months or so.

If that is your market then a name like that might be the way to go, otherwise i'd reconsider.
Although you've already got the RA thing going, I think a name that would go really well with "Smartass" would be an "Intelligence" line of products... Sounds nice and classy, and fits with the whole Smartass concept as well.
An "Intelligence" woofer series or whatever else may come... It just has a nice ring to me. Perhaps "Intelligence Audio", or "Intelect Audio" or something.
