In need of a High Output Alternator

The alternator is starting to let me down in my Pontiac 6000. It came stock with a 125a alternator but now the lights terribly dim and the voltage meter jumps around when the bass hits. I was wondering where i can get my hands on a high output alternator preferably a Stinger and the cost. Thanks

Question

I run around 2.5KW in my van with the stock 130amp alt from Ford...the "Big 3" upgrades under the hood took care of any dimming in my case, have you done them in your car?

Just wondering, because $30 worth of wire and a few connectors is a lot cheaper than a big alt.....

As an experiment I could put my 105A alternator back in my car, the "big 3" and new 200A alt were installed at the same time so I don't know how much of a difference the new alt made.
