No, I'm not a moron, its just cheaper to get a HO alt and install it myself than to get a one and get a shop to install it, and mine is dead (more like the positive post arced right off).

 

I've been looking and haven't found anything HO in canada.
ebay has lots, but i'd rather buy direct than through ebay.

Go talk to San at AMI Electronics at Dundas & Wharton(Mississauga), south on Wharton to end of street.. His whole shop is full of rewound alts and will do a swap with your current alt with full warranty.. I can get you a phone number but its in the car right now.. He is the alternator don!
