My vote goes for the 880prs, but thats cause I'm bias and bought one

. Haven't installed it yet (too damn cold), but it has full crossover control and front, rear, and subs, independant left and right 16 band equalizer, etc. I have always like pioneer head units (used to have a 860 series), and considering I paid about 500 shipped and duties for the 880 and an ipod adapter, I think thats a pretty good deal.

i'm really swaying towards the 880prs right now mostly because of the dual channel 16 band eq and the crossovers (not to mention it looks nice too)

i dont know much of anything about the cd5000, other than 8v preouts.. which would be a bonus

If your not hipe on the Clarion out of all the HU's mentioned I would talk to MR2NR about the Eclipse. IMO much better then the Pioneer or the Alpine.
