$362 later and including like 4-5 hours of stereo install only to find out that I need a pro to do it (Thanks anyway Rodney!!! it was fun still )
I picked up a new pair of 6 1/2 fronts. and will be getting everything installed tomorrow morning

My wallet just doesnt like that but I like it lol

Last night we found out just how ANNOYING my car was to take apart. As it took like 2 hours to take the dash off STUPID GM! lol And some other adventures as well lol Only to find out that my deck is TO BIG for the car!? lol So lets hope the pro's do it and get 'er done tomorrow lol. Way to go Alpine just have to be difficult eh lol

JRace - Because I like to hear it differently than others. And whether you want to believe it or not yes it makes a difference from the rear to me personally. I would appreciate if you cut the sarcasm thanks.
Geez you asked for an opinion and I gave you one. I'll remember to keep my sarcasm to myself next time.

MY opinion was to spend less on the rears and more on the fronts...and I am glad to see you have invested some money into the fronts.

Yes we are all entitled to have things sound the way we want them too. Sometimes we have no idea how much better something sounds until we are steared in that direction.

My main concern was with your comment that sounds coming from behind you have less impact on hearing damage.

This is why it is often a good idea to take it to a shop. Dash takes under 5mins to get off and ALL decks are too deep - you have to remove the plastic web in the back of the cavity and probably still have an extension dash kit.

Ah well - you had fun anyways right?
</font>
Hell yes I had fun lol At least I know how to take apart my dash now hahaha thanks Rodney & Jamie!

I didn't know u could extend the hole to put the deck in, learned somethin new there. lol

JRace - My apologies man I don't think I was tryin to take a stab I think I was just tryin to explain my view on your opinion. Thank you for the opinion however as even the ones some people don't like are still good opinions man

Hey Terri

Just remember that if you are still having issues with the deck getting in the dash - I have a hammer and torch

Yeah lol the 6x9's were wired wrong hence the buzzing noise Rodney. And bob installed the fronts the rear wiring and the deck in 2 hours lol They did a great job too, however it was wierd somethin happened with my speedometer on my way home I was drivin down north front and it said I was going 160 so I went back and somehow we managed to fix the needle. That was odd...

New problem however, my temperature controls seem to have no lights O.o lol So at night I can't see that panel.

Thanks Silverstripe but I believe the guy at sound concepts used an air saw to get rid of the 'web' I think its called, that Dukk was referring to either

Also Rodney Bob had to shave some of the sides of the mounting bracket so that I'm able to actually get the face on, but it looks clean like it wasn't touched, I'll show u sometime just arrange when and I have ur $10 too
