Hey,

Was wondering if someone could help me out. I'm looking for a decent amp to give my 3 JL 12w6's the power they need. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Peter

budget is the key,
Are you willing to buy from ebay or only local shops?

The PG tantrum 1200.1 would be sweet.
What are the Voice coils on the subs?

Since your running W6s you have alot of options. You could either opt for a 4 ohm load or a 1 ohm load.

Since W6s are a classic in my book, you run the amp that was most commonly seen with a trio of W6s... PPI A1200.2

It will do 1200W in a 4 ohm load. The only problem is that they are relatively expensive compared to new amps that are on the market.

For example, a JBL 1200.1 will do 1200W into 1 ohm and will probably cost less than the PPI. Basically any of the Class D out there will work just fine.
