My vote goes for the DEH-P480MP because it's cheaper than the 580 and has 4 volt pre-outs.

my buddy and i are going deck shopping on the weekend, so i will point him at the pioneer boards and see which he likes better.
how are the pioneer menus to navigate while driving? yes, i know you shouldnt, but who doesnt scroll through once in a while.

for whatever reason, most companies are quite unwilling to ship USPS, they always seem to want to send through OOPS...er, UPS
ill definitely let you know what he decides on, even if we cant find anything local, there have been some great deals posted.
