Electrical is fine , because i have a nice battery and my E39's alternator is pretty big because its a BMW lol, the wiring is 4 gauge stinger pretty thick...

Btw are the DD subs loud SPL ???

And arent clarion amps crap ?

So if i buy the RE's they would kill the Alpines, btw did u see the link i posted , there RE SE somethin 12" 1000 watt RMS each i think im not sure ?

Yea the E39 does have a Ski Hatch ...

Yea the E39 does have a ski hatch....

Last thing i wanted to know if i could amplify my factory bose speakers because without doing that i would just have plain bass and no sound of the song .... My cousin had a system in this car with 2 10" MTX subs 900 wattRMS of both , when ever he turned up the volume more then 20 the speakers would start to crisp and the subs was like as if there just starting to give some bass , any way to deal with that without goin through a mess ???

remove the blose speaker replace a good set
if you ask what is a good set you will get " go out and hear the speakers the you are looking at "
if you do a ported box run the ports up into the old speaker hole in the back deck and have the two subs in a V
so two boxs cut so the face is say 30* meet the two boxs so they look like a V and the dill your ports so thay line up with the speaker hole
ps i miss my bmw

4ga isnt thick... thats kiddy stuff... if you dont know DD then you dont know spl. DD makes big boy subs they make extreme SPL competition woofers, the ones for sale are regular style woofers not SPL competition, but then again if you want pure SPL the first move would be to get a different car. Get a big battery at least a group 34 optima yellow top, BMW or not you need to know the amperage output of your alternator and clarion amps are decent stuff, theres nothing wrong with them. You have to understand big bass takes big money, if you want to go really loud plan on around 500 per sub and at least 1000 for an amp, the RE's you were looking at are entry level, you need something with *****.

if it was like my old bmw it had a group 34 batter in under the back seat and an air cooled alt and i did not fined a bigger one out there for my bmw
bmw are good cars but the 1/4 fire wall makes them harder to do .the set up that you need to do is the V set up with the boxs
if done you will hit 145+
or you can do subs in the kick pods there is about 4-6" of foam there

listen to the zzzzzzzz man... if they have big batts already then good. just go get subs with good motors (big strong magnets) and some good clean hard power. then build that box he described.

is this the car ?
eBay Motors: BMW : M5 (item 330236410006 end time May-25-08 18:00:00 PDT)
your battery is behind the right sind of the trunk in the floor
then you add two of something like this (what 54lbs each )
http://www.absolutecaraudio.ca/produ...%2010,12,15,18
add a box set up and see how you hit the coners now
